FAQ's
The MACT database provides a format where performers and venues may contact one another, via listing within either the 'Performers' page, or 'venues' page.
This database is publicly accessible, and each page provides a field for powerful searches, as well as sorting from each colum. Users may quickly find performers by name, music genre..., and venues by city and establishment type. As long as they regularly feature live music, we will happily list them within our database.
From our music family to yours, we put lots of talent, heart, and soul into all our performers and partners. We hope you enjoy our efforts as much as we enjoy bringing it to you!
- Add Performer Request:
- A performer may use the MACT Signup page as a request to be added to the MACT Musicians public database. Once the request has been submitted by the performer, it is then added to the queue to be approved by a MACT admin. Before the record has been approved, the performer may re-add or modify that same record from within the Signup page. However, once the record has been approved (added to the public Musicians db), the performer must use the modify record option for any further changes to their public information (See "Modify Performer Request"). Also note, the admin will click on the provided social media link and verify the performer's info before approving the record.
- Modify Performer Request:
- A performer may enter a request via Signup page, to modify their public information at any time (Gnere, City, Link). They may re-enter their modification request repeatedly, making changes and fixing typos as needed. However, if it is necessary to modify their performer name (the primary record ID), they must submit a request to have their previous performer name deleted from the public database, and also a seperate request to add their updated performer name and information. Before modifications are approved (in most cases), a MACT admin must contact the performer through their social media link, to confirm the change request has been entered by the intended performer.
- Delete Performer Request:
- A performer may enter a request via Signup page, to delete all of their public information within the "MACT Musicians" db, at any time. Before a performers public information will be deleted, a MACT admin must contact the performer through their social media link, to confirm the deletion request has been entered by the intended performer.
